Anywhere you go, people wanna know, How to have a real time. Habit overdue, looking for a clue, Tangled up and tongue-tied. Been working on my dreams, Working on my dreams. Want it to be good, want it understood, Want it to be alright. Waiting for the call, picture on a wall, Hang it where it shines bright, so bright. Roll it over again, Roll it over and over again, Roll it over again. Anywhere you go, people wanna know, How to have a real time. Power in the self, more than any wealth, Something that you can’t buy. Been working on my dreams, Working on my dreams. I wrote a number down I hadn’t thought yet, I tried to play the clown and saw my silhouette. Somebody mentioned what it wasn’t supposed to be, So now I’m rolling it over. Been working on my dreams, Working on my dreams.

Domino 02:32
More and more I see the ways I should’ve, Known what I was doing. Holding out to catch a golden sunbeam, Meanwhile storm’s a brewing. Not much to explain when it’s so rare to find exemption, Setting out to give another meaning where it calls attention. When in doubt, you’ll know it. Topple down domino, Riding out on a road you’ve been before. More and more I see the ways I wished I’d known what I was thinking. Even know I can forget that I’m not here for competition. The look on your face thinking how it’s all unfolded, Gonna live to see another day with eyes and arms wide open. When in doubt, you’ll know it. Topple down domino, Riding out on a road you’ve been before.

So What 02:30
Handsome singer coming through my speaker, Pulled a lucky winner, table’s set for dinner. Wouldn’t want to risk it for a golden ticket, Buckle up and click it even if you’re sure. So what would I want it for? So what would it do? Somewhere out there I can see it shining, It could lift my spirit, it could send me flying. Though it maybe greener working for the seeder, Is a lucky winner what you’re saving for? So what would I want it for? So what would it do? So what, So why would I want it, So what, So what why I want it for? So what, So why would I?

Always another thing, Someday I’ll get my wings. Before I fall asleep, I always find a moment to dream. I’ve never caught a wave, But I’d like to have my day. It could stay a fantasy, Or I could finally put it all in play. Aye, Aye. Kind affirmations and carrots still dangling, New inspirations appear when it’s time for me to believe, That someday I’ll go surfing, Someday I’ll go surfing. But I’d have to find a board, And I’d have to find a shore, Without many locals round, Who’d rather I’d have just stayed at home. Kind affirmations and carrots still dangling, New inspirations appear when it’s time for me to believe, That someday I’ll go surfing, Someday I’ll go surfing.

The Power 02:32
Standing on the shore staring at the water, Like you have before, but sometimes it feels harder, Staring at the void as it teeter totters, Moving back and forth seeing where it wanders. It ain’t too late to understand, too late to try, Too late to recognize the power that’s inside. All across the board, pieces moving farther, Than they were before, sand becoming finer. You can ask for more, something you can honor, Eat the apple core, if you really wanna. It ain’t too late to understand, too late to try, Too late to recognize the power that’s inside.

Floating over painted pictures, From the valley and beyond. Mulling over greener pastures, Always somewhere to belong. Goes on and on, Can I live up to it? Orange sunlight in the morning, Purple sunset caps it off. Overzealous and compassion, Come together ‘splay it all. Goes on and on, Can I live up to it? You’ve got it but you’ve got to keep it glistening. Floating over painted pictures, From the valley and beyond. Mulling over greener pastures, Going, going, going, gone.

I’m glad I don’t think about you the way I used to, I don’t think about you the way I used to, No, no, no. In days gone by, I felt my heart so full of heavy feelings, I felt my head filled up with any reason, I could find. Yeah, I spent time, Too much time worried how it all could go, Now I don’t have to keep on guessing anymore I’m glad I don’t think about you the way I used to, I don’t think about you the way I used to, Oh, no, no. Yeah, I spent time, Too much time worried how it all could go, Now I don’t have to keep on guessing anymore. I don’t have to keep on guessing anymore. I’m glad I don’t think about you the way I used to, I don’t think about you the way I used to, Oh, no, no.

From my pillow I’ve been sleeping on the things I wanna do, But I’ll get to them when I get up as long as I don’t snooze. Good intentions on display, Still hung up on yesterday. Opened up my book for the first time in a long while, In the time it took to revisit, I’d moved a hundred miles. Everybody’s got their own, Leave a message at my tone and tell me, How does it feel, To be out of the deal? From my pillow I can see where all the leaks are coming through, And I’ll fix them all when I get up as long as I don’t snooze. I’ve been catching up on sleep, Look me up, give me a ring and tell me, How does it feel, To be out of the deal? How does it feel, To be out of the deal, Looking at it now?

Your eyes look like christmas to me, Your eyes look like christmas to me, But when I say it that way I sound bad, But it really feels like it’s Christmas time again. Your eyes look like christmas to me, Stayed up watching movies on TV, But when I say it that way I sound bad, But it really feels like it’s Christmas time again. Oh, oh. But when I say it that way I sound bad, But it really feels like it’s Christmas time again.

Wisdom 02:18
Locked away and looking for another word to tell you more, I wonder when my wisdom will get here. A song appears in front of me, a melody I’m whistling, The television glowing like a moonbeam. It happens all through life, It’s sailing in the night, Along the corners of my eye, I wonder when I’m gonna get it right. Circling a loop de loop, a basketball right through the hoop, I hear a swish and suddenly I feel it. I hold a pen right in my hand, I try the left and back again, The page still bare, I drift off and wonder. It happens all the time, It’s sailing in the night, Along the corners of my eye, I wonder when I’m gonna get it right. I wonder when I’m gonna get it right.
