erinmack The first time I heard Diners, I was floored by a sense of instant recognition. In midlife, I’d finally begun to turn away from defaulting to the melancholic and towards a gentle optimism: I knew this was the perfect soundtrack. 5 yrs on, Three is still full of timeless gems (Little Pad just might be the perfect love song), choruses that get stuck in your head for days (Laundromat Concern), and understated reflections that punch above their weight (Thinking of You). Blue’s music is a gift! Favorite track: little pad.
Uncooked

Uncooked This song in-general is my favorite out of this whole album. The beauty of this masterpiece targets the feeling of missing an old friend who made life a bit better. A friend who was there for you when you least likely expected. A friendly reminder that they never leave you. Once you forget yourself, the memories become an anchor to the pieces of yourself that you once were. A warm welcome to home and comfort. Favorite track: laundromat concern.

I walked in the kitchen, sat down at the table, I talked to some people that I didn’t know. I waited for music, to come from the basement, when it started playing, I went to the show.
2.
Something more than what’s beyond your door, something more than ever seen before. I wanna take a trip and hear the songs every town has got to sing. I wanna hear the world, see what life could be. Something more than what’s beyond your desk, something more than what you’d ever guess. I wanna take a trip and hear the songs every town has got to sing. I wanna hear the world, see what I could be.

Off to the side, every thing that I had in mind. Heard another song so familiar I was long gone. I was fifteen on a skateboard, skating through the neighborhood. I was fifteen on a skateboard, skating through the neighborhood. I was Saw the second night, everything that I had in mind. Record store light, thought about it on the drive. I was fifteen on a skateboard, skating through the neighborhood. I was fifteen on a skateboard, skating through the neighborhood. I was

I thought about the house I lived in growing up in my hometown. I thought about the pool I swam in after school with my cousins. I gave a dollar, received my change. Walking home from the corner store sipping the rest of my day. I drove around the blocks I wandered not much else was there to do. I came across a thought I forgot, maybe I was at fault. I gave a dollar, received my change. Walking home from the corner store sipping the rest of my days. I gave a dollar, said keep the change. Walking home from the corner store sipping the rest of my days. I thought about the house I lived in growing up in my hometown.

Redisovering your old favorite songs, SMiLE around the room where your heart belongs, and it’s hard to see what could’ve ever brought you down, but you know I mean it when I say I’ll come around. Around… Singing classics on the way to the store I am thankful for this life, I am thankful for this life. Learning to live, learning to live, learning to live, learning to live.

Wait, don’t tell me that night is almost over. And still I think of you as though your head’s still rested on my shoulder. Taking my time, dreaming away, they ask me what’s wrong, I told them it’s cool. Thinking of you, thinking while the thinking’s coming good. At home, another melody I’ve fallen into. “Just go to sleep” tired eyes convince me to get ready. Body is tired mind is awake I’m brushing my teeth and looking in the mirror, moments go by, I’ve decided that I’m okay looking strange. Taking my time, dreaming away, they ask me what’s wrong, I tell ‘em, “not much,” I’m just thinking of you, thinking while the thinking’s coming good. I’m thinking of you, thinking while the thinking’s coming good.

Wanna take another chance on this town, but what is living when your spirit is down. In the city, that that was freaking you out. In the city, that gave you your mouth. Dropped in on courage now I’m gaining some speed, I rocked to fakie now I’m weak in the knees, I was moving, eager to please. I was moving, cruising the streets. It was beauty that kept me around, but there’s beauty in that other town. I was living, wind in yer hair. I was living, lighting the flare.

All on your own, take a break from looking at your phone. Kick it in gear, don’t look hard or it will disappear. Try to keep it, keep it moving, on in the funniest of times. You gotta keep peace in mind. All on your own, time will tell you how the good things flow. Learning the space, see how long it takes from place to place. Try to keep it, keep it moving, on in the funniest time. You gotta keep peace in mind.

little pad 02:31
Rushing home to see yer smile, it’s a lazy night for two. Finally through with freeway traffic, exit 7 th Avenue. I see the light on, I see the front porch, I see your silhouette, reaching for the door. I’m your’s, I’m your’s, I’m your’s if you want me. Mango tea and coca-cola, there’s a movie on the screen. Little pad in Arizona, with the person of my dreams. I see the light on, I see the front porch, I see your silhouette, reaching for the door. I’m your’s, I’m your’s, I’m your’s, if you want me, if you want.

I understand, you’ve got your heart broken. I understand know that it’s okay to feel down. Don’t let it stop you from doing your best, don’t shine a light on the mess. I understand, wondering where to go next. You’ve got it good, know that you are more than them. Don’t let it haunt you it’s all in your head, just get yourself out of bed. Count all your blessings and love what you’ve got, soon you’ll be feeling the tops. Don’t let it stop you from doing your best, don’t shine a light on, don’t shine a light on, don’t shine a light on the mess.

Here to do the time, to do the place and to move on, to try your best and learn a lot, think of love and send it off. Send it out into the world, where it’s always needed most, we’re here, so are you. Here to do the time, to do the place and to move on, to make mistakes and to learn how, to make them right next time around. So we can move to better lives, give ourselves a worthy prize, we’re here, so are you. Here to be the time, to be the place, to have moved on, to be of love and righted wrongs, to know ourselves and what went on. Everyone is not the same, universe will play it’s game, it’s big but so are you, it’s big but so are you, and so are you.

Healthy feeling, buried in the dirt. Everything, everything in moderation. Everything, taking time. Early morning, laundromat concern Everything, everything in moderation. Everything, taking time. Thought of something, maybe nothing, higher consciousness, never put to rest. Daydreaming of your face, walking down the street with a friend, in another state. Daydreaming on, drifting off, on about you.

Hi! Thanks for listening to my album, Three! love, tyler

beauty 02:32
I was talking to a friend about their religious experience, brought on by a classic record. We were driving over night, to the prettiest city I knew of, feeling pretty different. My eyes caught a glimmer of the moon’s reflection, on top the water, brushing the highway, though I knew I didn’t believe in man, I believe in beauty and that’s good enough for me. Learning to drift towards the good things, turn it up if you feel it, turn it down if you want to. I thought they made it look easy, just mark it down and, slap it up on a billboard, tell all your friends in the business, maybe they’d dig this. But where will they go when their waves crash, new potential trends, how does the song sound when it’s over, where does the light go when it’s gone. Learning to drift towards the beauty, maybe you know, so turn it up if you feel it, turn it down if you want to, no one could stop you. Learning to drift towards the good things.

Eye on the view, racking my brain, couldn’t get it perfect if I tried all day. Went to the party, not much to say, kept to the small talk, faking my way. And the thought comes again, “living in the real world,” am i doing it right? Am i don’t it right? Don’t doubt yourself kid, don’t doubt yourself kid don’t doubt yourself kid.
